Terms of service
These terms apply when you use Broker Sense, provided by LoadingSense ("we", "us"). By creating an account or connecting Broker Sense to an AI app, you agree to them.
1. Who Broker Sense is for
Broker Sense is for licensed Australian credit professionals: credit representatives and Australian Credit Licence holders. You must give us accurate details so we can confirm your registration, keep your registration current while you use the service, and tell us if it ends. Support staff may use Broker Sense through a team, under the supervision of the team's licensed brokers. Broker Sense is not for consumers.
2. Information, not advice
- Broker Sense provides general information to help licensed brokers do their work. It does not provide credit assistance, credit advice or financial advice, and it does not assess whether a loan is suitable for anyone.
- You remain responsible for the advice you give, your best interests duty, responsible lending obligations, and confirming information with the lender before relying on it.
- Information comes from published and other sources and can change, be incomplete or contain errors. Rates, policy and scheme rules should always be confirmed with the lender or the relevant authority.
- Suggested options are not recommendations. Where Broker Sense doesn't hold information, it says so.
3. Your clients' information
Don't enter your clients' personal information (names, contact details, addresses, identification numbers or exact financial figures) into Broker Sense. Describe scenarios in general terms instead. You're responsible for your own privacy obligations to your clients.
4. Your account
- An account belongs to one person. Don't share your login. Colleagues can join your team with their own access.
- Keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you think your account has been misused.
- Reasonable limits apply to connected apps and usage so the service stays fast and fair for everyone.
5. Trials, plans and payment
- Broker Sense is in beta until 1 Feb 2027. Until then it's free for verified brokers and their support staff, and the trial and free-plan limits below don't apply. If we move that date earlier, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice; nothing is charged unless you subscribe.
- Founding members: if you subscribe before your free period ends (the beta, or a free period we've given you), nothing is charged until it ends, and you then pay half the standard price for as long as your subscription continues. Brokers you cover on your subscription before your free period ends are at the founding price too, for as long as you cover them; brokers you cover after it are at the standard price. If you cancel, the founding price ends, and a later subscription is at the standard price.
- New verified brokers get a 14-day free trial. When it ends, you can keep using Broker Sense on the free plan, which is limited to 2 questions a day (see help for what counts as a question). A paid plan removes the limit.
- If you haven't subscribed before, your first month on a paid plan is free. You give your payment details when you subscribe and are first charged when the free month ends; cancel before then and you won't be charged. Founding members don't get a free month as well: their free period comes first, and they're charged when it ends.
- Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST, which is added at checkout. They're shown before you subscribe, and we'll give you at least 30 days' notice of price changes.
- Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use Broker Sense to provide information directly to consumers, or resell, republish or redistribute it;
- copy, scrape or extract Broker Sense's content or data in bulk, or use it to build a competing product;
- attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service; or
- use the service unlawfully or in a way that could harm others.
7. What you contribute
When you or your AI assistant record cases, decisions, outcomes or feedback, you give us permission to use that information to provide and improve Broker Sense, including in aggregated, de-identified form for other users. We never identify you or your clients to other users.
8. Our content
Broker Sense and its content, including the Sensorium (Sense's knowledge base), belong to us or our licensors. Third-party material (such as lenders' published documents) belongs to its owners and is referenced for information. We give you a limited, non-transferable right to use Broker Sense for your own work while your account is active.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Broker Sense available and accurate, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. If we make a change that significantly reduces what a paid plan includes, you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused period.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from reliance on information you didn't confirm with the lender, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or, where the law allows, to supplying the service again).
11. Suspension and ending
You can stop using Broker Sense and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, isn't held by a currently registered credit professional, or puts the service or others at risk. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first.
12. General
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. We may update them; we'll post the new version here and tell you about significant changes, which take effect 30 days after notice. Questions: hey@loadingsense.com.
