Privacy policy
LoadingSense ("we", "us") provides Broker Sense, a knowledge service for licensed finance brokers' AI assistants. This policy explains what personal information we handle, why, and your choices. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Account details: your name and email address, and your sign-in provider's identifier if you sign in with Google.
- Professional details: your credit representative or credit licence number, and the matching details on ASIC's public register, which we use to confirm you're a licensed broker.
- Team details: if you create or join a team, the team's name and its members' email addresses and roles.
- Usage information: the requests your AI assistant makes to Broker Sense, the de-identified cases and outcomes it records for you, feedback you give, and which connected apps you use.
- Billing information: your subscription status. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we don't see or store card numbers.
- Technical information: server logs, including IP addresses and request times.
How we use it
- To provide Broker Sense: sign you in, respond to your AI assistant, and keep your connected apps working.
- To confirm you're a licensed broker, which is a condition of using the service.
- To follow up on cases you've recorded, by email.
- To maintain and improve the service and the information it provides. Insights drawn from many brokers' cases are only ever shared in aggregated, de-identified form; other users never see who you are or what you decided.
- To keep accounts secure and the service fair to everyone, including detecting misuse.
- To contact you about your account and the service, and, where you've agreed, about product news. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.
Who we share it with
We don't sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Broker Sense (for hosting, email delivery, payments and data processing) under contracts that require them to protect it, and where the law requires us to.
Our main systems and data are hosted in Australia. Some providers are located overseas, mainly in the United States, so some information may be stored or processed there.
Your AI app
Broker Sense only receives what your AI assistant sends to it. What you type into the assistant itself (such as Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot) is governed by that provider's privacy policy.
The Broker Sense plugin for Claude. LoadingSense's free plugin runs inside your Claude account and stores nothing itself. Its skills work on what you share in the conversation, and send Broker Sense only what a lookup needs: scenarios described in bands (such as LVR, income range and loan purpose), never client names, contact details, addresses or exact figures. When Broker Sense had too little on part of a question, the plugin sends that part, in general terms, for our research, and tells you it has. Broker Sense handles what it receives as this policy describes.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to meet legal obligations. You can close your account yourself (Account, in your account page), or ask us to. Closing it deletes your name, email and broker details, cancels any subscription and disconnects your apps. What you recorded (cases, decisions, outcomes) holds no client details and stays, de-identified. Aggregated, de-identified information that no longer identifies you may be kept.
Security
We protect information with encryption in transit, restricted access and audit logging, and store credentials only in protected form. No system is perfectly secure; if a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we'll notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by law.
Cookies
We use a cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Access, correction and complaints
You can view and update most of your details in your account. To request a copy of your information, a correction or deletion, or to make a complaint, email hey@loadingsense.com. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here and let you know by email about significant changes.
